Beef Savoy Cabbage Rolls

Ingredients

  • 8 Savoy cabbage leaves
  • 1 cup Ground beef
  • 2 large Onions diced
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 Green pepper chopped

Instructions

  1. In a skillet add the olive oil.
  2. Sauté the onion for 2 minutes.
  3. Add the ground beef and stir.
  4. Cover with lid and cook on medium heat for 5 minutes.
  5. Add the salt, pepper and stir.
  6. Cover again and cook for another 5 minutes.
  7. Arrange the Savoy cabbage leaves onto a flat surface.
  8. Fill the middle using the beef mixture.
  9. Make a tight roll and seal the edges using toothpick or thread.
  10. Steam the rolls for 3 minutes. Serve hot.
