Beef Savoy Cabbage Rolls

Savoy Cabbage

Ingredients
  • 8 Savoy cabbage leaves
  • 1 cup Ground beef
  • 2 large Onions diced
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 Green pepper chopped
Instructions
  1. In a skillet add the olive oil.
  2. Sauté the onion for 2 minutes.
  3. Add the ground beef and stir.
  4. Cover with lid and cook on medium heat for 5 minutes.
  5. Add the salt, pepper and stir.
  6. Cover again and cook for another 5 minutes.
  7. Arrange the Savoy cabbage leaves onto a flat surface.
  8. Fill the middle using the beef mixture.
  9. Make a tight roll and seal the edges using toothpick or thread.
  10. Steam the rolls for 3 minutes. Serve hot.

Ingredients
  • 1 Egg beaten
  • ½ lb. Ground beef
  • ½ lb. Ground pork
  • 1 cup Onion diced
  • 2 cups Roma tomatoes chopped
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • Fresh coriander chopped
  • 2 Garlic cloves chopped
  • 5 tbsp Olive oil divided
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 4 Green chilies chopped
  • ½ tsp Turmeric
  • ½ tsp Cumin
Instructions
  1. In a bowl combine the egg, ground beef, ground pork, half of the onion, chilies, salt and pepper.
  2. Create round meatballs using your hands.
  3. Fry them with 4 tbsp of oil for 10-12 minutes or until they are golden brown.
  4. Transfer to a side plate and let it cool down.
  5. For the gravy, in a pan heat 1 tbsp of oil.
  6. Fry the rest of the onion for 2 minutes. Add the garlic and mix for 1 minute.
  7. Add the ginger garlic paste, turmeric, cumin and paprika.
  8. Season using salt.
  9. Add half of the water and cook with the lid on for 5 minutes.
  10. Add the tomatoes and cook for 4 minutes and add the remaining water. Mash the tomatoes.
  11. Cover and cook for 15 minutes. Add the fried meatballs and cook for 5 more minutes with the lid on.
  12. Serve hot.

Chicken with Broccoli and Mushrooms Stir Fry

This recipe combines chicken with broccoli and mushrooms along with some tasty spices. It’s an easy stir fry to make and can be ready in just 20 minutes. It goes nicely with a side of cauliflower rice or can be served by itself.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup Mushrooms
  • 2 Chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Broccoli florets
  • ½ cup water
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1 tsp Sesame seeds
  • ½ tsp Red chili powder
  • 2 large White onions diced
  • 1 tbsp tomato puree
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
  1. Cut the chicken breasts into 1 inch size pieces.

  2. Cut the mushrooms into small slices.

  3. In a skillet or wok heat the olive oil and add the chicken.

  4. Toss for 5 minutes until thoroughly cooked.

  5. Add the water and onions and mix together.

  6. Cover and cook the wok for 3 minutes. 

  7. Add the mushroom, broccoli, tomato puree and stir well.

  8. Add the salt, pepper, oregano, red chili powder and stir for 3 minutes.

  9. Cook for an 5 minutes or until the broccoli is soft.

  10. Serve warm.

Grilled Lamb Chops

This is an excellent recipe for grilled lamb chops that is perfect for a quick dinner. The gentle seasoning will bring out the natural flavor of the lamp. Don’t overcook the lamp as you want it to remain tender and fresh. Serve with a side of Broccoli and you’ll have a great meal.

  • 2 tablespoons Fresh lemon juice
  • 4 tablespoons Fresh mint leaves chopped
  • 3 pounds Lamb chops
  • ½ cup Fresh parsley chopped
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoon Extra-virgin olive oil
Instructions
  1. Preheat a grill to medium-high heat and grease the grill grate.
  2. Put lamb loin chops, mint, parsley, olive oil, lemon juice, salt and black pepper in a bowl.
  3. Let marinate about 1 hour.
  4. Grill the chops for about 10 minutes on each side making sure it is cooked through.
  5. Serve hot.

Ingredients
  • 2 whole Rainbow trout gutted and cleaned
  • ½ bunch Fresh dill
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 Fennel bulb sliced
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • ½ bunch Fresh rosemary
  • 1 Lemon seeded, sliced thinly and divided
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F and oil a baking pan.
  2. Arrange the fennel slices in the bottom of prepared baking pan.
  3. Season each trout with salt and black pepper.
  4. Stuff the cavity of each fish with half of lemon slices and fresh dill.
  5. Layer the fish over fennel slices and top with remaining lemon slices.
  6. Drizzle with olive oil and bake for about 10 minutes.
  7. Reduce the temperature of oven to 400 degrees F and bake for about 12 more minutes.
  8. Make sure it is cooked thoroughly and serve warm.
  9. Garnish with fresh rosemary.

Ingredients
  • 8 Eggs
  • 2 Avocados
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp Paleo mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika
  • 1/4 tsp Sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp Fresh pepper
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley (chopped)
Instructions
  1. Place eggs in a large pot and cover with an inch of cold water. Bring the water to a rolling boil. Boil for about 10 minutes. Cover and turn off heat. Let the eggs sit on burner, covered, for another 10 minutes.

  2. Drain the eggs and rinse them in cold water. Once they are cool enough to handle, carefully peel and slice each egg in half lengthwise. 

  3. Carefully remove the yolks with a spoon and transfer them to a small bowl. Set the cooked egg whites to the side.

  4. Add the avocado, lemon juice, mayonnaise, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt and pepper to the bowl with the yolks. Mash everything together until thoroughly mixed.

  5. Fill each egg half with a tablespoon of the avocado mixture and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve and enjoy!

This is a great tasting “breaded” fried fish recipe.

By substituting paleo ingredients for bread crumbs you can have a great compliant meal.

While we recommend cod or halibut you can really use any fish you like.

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 to 2 pounds Halibut (can substitute your own white fish)
  • 2 cups Lard
  • 4 Egg whites
  • 1 cup Tapioca Starch (1/2 cup dredging)
  • 1/4 cup Cassava Flour
  • 1/4 tsp Sea Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper
Instructions
  1. Wash the fish and pat dry.

  2. Cut the fish into bite size pieces.

  3. Beat the egg whites with a mixer until stiff.

  4. Mix in 1/2 cup tapioca starch, the cassava flour, salt and pepper.

  5. Heat the lard in a deep fryer or frying pan. Wait till it comes up to temperature.

  6. Dredge the cut fish pieces in the remaining tapioca starch. Then dip in the batter mixture. Spread batter over the fish.

  7. Place in the fish pieces in the deep fryer. Cook for about 3 minutes then flip the fish. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until golden brown. Make sure the fish is cooked all the way through.

  8. Remove the fish from the deep fryer and let them cool on a paper towel.

Ingredients
  • 2 dozen Chicken Wings
  • 1/2 cup Coconut Aminos
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 3 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp Sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp Ground ginger powder
  • 1/4 tsp Fresh black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Franks Hot Sauce (Optional)
Instructions
  1. Mix together all the listed ingredients except the chicken wings in a large mixing bowl.

  2. Place the chicken wings in the marinade for at least one hour.

  3. Preheat your oven to 375F. Slightly oil a baking sheet and place the marinaded chicken on the baking sheet.

  4. Bake for approximately 30 minutes. Flipping half way through. The internal temperature of the chicken should reach 165F.

  5. Serve with lettuce, celery, or scallions.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup bone broth or chicken broth
  • 3 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 3 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp Dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp Sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Ground coriander
  • 1 medium Yellow onion (diced)
  • 1.5-2 pounds Chicken breast or skinless thighs
  • 1/4 cup Red wine optional
  • 1 tbsp butter, ghee or olive oil
Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl combine the chicken or bone broth, mustard, garlic, thyme, sea salt, pepper, and ground coriander. (and red wine if you choose to use it). * The alcohol in the wine will burn off when you reduce the mixture later, but if you are concerned skip it.

  2. Mix the ingredients together with a wisk.

  3. Select the saute setting on the Instant Pot and add the butter, ghee or oilve oil.

  4. Add the onions and heat for about 5 minutes until the onions are soft and translucent.

  5. Add the chicken pieces to the onions and mix together.

  6. Add the broth mixture to the pot and stir everything together.

  7. Put the lid on the top of the Instant Pot and make sure the pressure release is set to sealing. Cancel the saute cycle, and select a manual cooking time of 8 minutes at high pressure.

  8. After 8 minutes let the pot sit for 10 minutes to naturally release some pressure. Then move the release valve to venting and be careful as the remaining steam is released.

  9. Remove the chicken and set aside. Cancel the cycle and select saute. Continue to cook the broth mixture about 8 more minutes to reduce the sauce. Then turn off the Instant pot.

  10. Add the chicken back to the reduced sauce and serve.

Paleo Salmon Cakes

This is a quick and easy salmon cake recipe.

Salmon is high in Omega 3's so it a great fish to enjoy.

It incorporates canned salmon so there is no need to make a trip to the fish market.

It can be ready in about a half hour so it makes a nice mid-week meal for a family.

Ingredients
  • 2 cans pink salmon
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon scallions diced
  • 2 tablespoons shallots diced
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • 2 tablespoons coconut flour
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground pepper
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp ground sage
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
Instructions
  1. Mix the eggs and salmon in a bowl.

  2. Add the garlic, scallions, and shallots and mix.

  3. Add the sea salt, pepper, paprika and ground sage to the salmon mixture. Mix thoroughly.

  4. Add the coconut flour and mix thoroughly.

  5. Melt the coconut oil in a frying pan and maintain at medium heat.

  6. Shape the salmon mixture into four or five patties.

  7. Fry in the oil turning after about 4 minutes or when they begin to brown.

  8. Continue flipping and frying until the patties are cooked all the way through.

  9. Serve and enjoy!
