Amazing Paleo Brownies
These Paleo Brownies are easy to make and delicious.
Whenever you need a special Paleo treat this recipe is just what you need.
Don’t let the simplicity of the recipe fool you because you can have these ready in just 30 minutes.
To make sure you stay Paleo with this recipe you need to select dark chocolate chips that don’t have sugar added.
Your non-paleo friends will be amazed and not even realize they are eating a Paleo brownie. (unless you tell them of course)
- ⅔ cup dark chocolate chips
- 3 Tbsp coconut oil
- 2 Tbsp creamy almond butter
- ⅔ cup organic coconut sugar
- 2 large eggs
- ⅔ cup blanched almond flour
- 2 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ¼ tsp sea salt
- 1 Tbsp coconut oil for greasing pan
Preheat your oven to 350F degrees. Lightly oil 8x8 baking pan with coconut oil.
In a saucepan, melt the chocolate, almond butter and the coconut oil over low heat until smooth. Remove the saucepan from the heat and set aside to cool.
In a small bowl, mix together the coconut sugar and eggs until slightly lighter in color and until they mixture is smooth.
In a medium bowl, mix together the cocoa, almond flour, baking soda, and salt.
Slowly whisk the egg/sugar mixture into the saucepan of melted chocolate.
Stir in the dry ingredients until well mixed.
Pour the batter into your greased pan and smooth out the surface.
Bake at 350F degrees 20-24 minutes. The edges should slightly set and the center is still slightly underdone.
Allow brownies to cool. Slice and serve.
